EXHIBITION AN ODE TO THE EARTH Open from — November 1, 2025 at Noot, Östra Larmgatan 4, Gothenburg, Sweden Material — Eggshells. Eleven kilos collected, ground into a fine powder. Conversation Pieces – tactile invitations to connect with the material, to explore through the senses. Object no. 004 — sculpted from charcoal. Material ; Compost soil. From food waste from the restaurant Noot — has been transformed on site into nutrient-rich compost soil. Surface treatment – natural oils and recycled wax are used to protect the surface of the objects and enhance their durability. Sculpture made from compost soil – a coarse texture with visible fragments carrying the memory of shared meals. Object no. 006 – Sculpted from eggshells. Circular and dynamic forms, reflecting the cycles of nature and the continuous flow of renewal. Object no. 008. – Cast from eggshells and a small amount of compost soil. The compost machine — using heat and bacteria to transform food waste into fertile soil in the restaurant’s waste room. A test piece from the material exploration, made solely from compost soil and a natural binder. Objects cast from eggshells and compost soil, creating the dark speckles in the surface.
